John Minnihan, aka jbminn

While designing build systems in the late nineties, I invented hosted source control to provide remote access to code using only the Internet.

I created the first commerical hosted source control service, Freepository, securely managing more than 3 billion lines of code for 400,000 developers across the globe. I ran Freepository for seventeen years with no data loss or security incidents.

During that time I designed & implemented development infrastructure at numerous companies, including Amazon, Walmart.com, StubHub, Oracle, Juniper and many others.
