Okay, this is a post that probably guarantees I never get hired by Amazon, which is amusing since I went through that process back in May and got a rejection. I already talked about that.

A friend messaged me about 15 minutes ago and pointed me to Cory Quinn’s post this morning about why he turned down a job offer at AWS.  I thought this was really interesting.

Here's my response to my friend:

Amazon the company does a lot of stuff that's abusive and predatory.  It’s wild that they’ve become so similar to the old Microsoft, yet because consumers and start ups - I mean look at me: I’m using AWS services - love the service, the conduct mostly flies under the radar.

And that’s it in a nutshell.
